Fichtenwelt on the Rosenalm

Every childhood is filled with magic and unforgettable moments – at the Fichtenschloss, home to the friendly spruce elves, you and your family can rediscover this joy of life. Long, long ago, the hardworking spruce elves came to the Rosenalm and lovingly built a magnificent castle complex covering more than 5,000 m² for the prince and princess who would one day live there.

The four walkable towers of the Fichtenschloss can be seen from afar. Young and old adventurers can climb, slide and explore to their heart’s content. The 18-metre-high observation tower offers spectacular mountain views, while the treetop walkway invites visitors on an exciting journey through the trees. A wooden ball track, a spacious water and sand play area, an adventure playground and the spruce elves’ workshop provide endless fun for the whole family. Those looking to relax can unwind in the cosy hammock forest.

TIP: Every day from 11:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m., you can grill your own food on the Elf Grill in the castle kitchen. Sausages from a local butcher are available for purchase from the grill vending machine at the Fichtenschloss.

Hidden-Object Fun in the Fichtenwelt
Embark on an exciting journey of discovery with the popular hidden-object game in the Fichtenwelt. Together with the spruce elves, you'll explore the Fichtenschloss and the area around the Fichtensee, discovering many lovingly designed details and solving a tricky puzzle along the way. Those who look closely and find everything can look forward to a small reward at the end!

On the Rosenalm high above Zell am Ziller there is a magical place of fantasy – Fichtenschloss castle. In summer 2026, another attraction awaits all visitors: every Wednesday from mid-July (08/07) to mid-August (26/08) from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., the enchanting castle square surrounded by four majestic towers is transformed into a magical world.
