Age groups & concessions
Child rate
The child rate applies to children born on or after 1 January 2011.
Children born on or after 1 January 2020 travel free of charge, subject to the conditions of carriage and provided they are accompanied by a guardian.
Discount
With a degree of disability (GdB) of at least 60%, adults get the child price and children get a free ticket for a trip up and down. The GdB must be proven by an official disability ID card (original) or by a certificate issued by a medical officer in combination with an identity card or passport. If the ID indicates that a carer is required, then the carer receives the same discount. Discounted tickets are only available at the ticket offices in the resort upon presentation of the disability ID card. The discount does not apply to the purchase of the Zillertal Activcard.
Chip cards
A deposit of €2.00 is charged for each chip card. With the chip card, you can gain contactless access to all open cable cars – without having to insert the card at all. You will receive a full refund of the deposit when you return the chip card undamaged to one of our collection points.
