About the “Beste Österreichische Sommer-Bergbahnen” seal of quality: the “Beste Österreichische Sommer-Bergbahnen” seal of quality is an initiative by the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich [Austrian Chamber of Commerce] Fachverband der Seilbahnen [Association of Cable Car Operators]. The seal of quality unites the experts and pioneers of Austrian summer mountain tourism among Austria’s cable cars. Only businesses that meet at least 160 quality criteria can join the best Austrian summer cable cars club. They also have to specialise in one of the five themes – Adventure, Family, Panorama & Outdoor Experiences, Indulgence, Art & Culture – and pass re-certification every three years.
