Location and how to get here

The village of Krimml-Hochkrimml is the westernmost municipality in the Salzburger Land region and the perfect launchpad for a holiday in the Zillertal Arena. The village is easily accessible by car in around 1.5 to 2.5 hours from Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich airports. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace of travel, you can also get here by rail and bus. There are international trains to Zell am See, from where regular scheduled bus services and the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway run to Krimml. The budget committee of the Austrian National Council has made the section of motorway from the German border to the Kufstein Süd exit toll-free.

Getting here by train

Excellent rail links from all European cities ensure a quick and easy journey to Jenbach/Tirol or Zell am See/Salzburger Land. From there, you can then take the Zillertalbahn train to Zell am Ziller or the Pinzgau Lokalbahn train to Krimml and continue by bus to your destination.
