Krimml-Hochkrimml is part of the Zillertal Arena, the largest ski area in Zillertal and Pinzgau. The perfect placeto enjoy winter to the full. Surrounded by 30 peaks over three thousand metres and a breathtaking panorama, this is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts with 11 km of black, 87 km of red and 46 km of blue slopes. Young visitors will also feel at home in Krimml:  the fairy-tale meadow right in the centre of the village and the two winter sports schools are a fun way for your children to discover winter sports.

Anyone looking for a little more speed should head to the floodlit natural toboggan runs. Enjoy the peace and beautiful countryside as you make your way uphill, stop off for refreshment at the start of the run, and then it’s all about the thrill of the descent. A highlight for our young visitors is the Arena fairy-tale meadow in the centre of the village, to which admission is free. Children can ride on a magic carpet, meet fantastical magical creatures and much more. As you can see, there’s never a dull moment in Krimml – whether you’re looking for relaxation or sporting challenges, this village in the heart of Hohe Tauern National Park is always worth a visit.

With Hochkrimml cross-country ski arena up at 1,600 m and access to the 100 km-long Pinzgau cross-country ski trail in the valley, you have the perfect opportunity to combine great exercise with true appreciation of the beautiful snow-covered landscape.
