Investment in guaranteed snow cover in Gerlos
The Gerlos Ski Lift Centre has invested around 12 million euros in modernising the snow-making system. As part of the extensive construction work, the new Ebenfeld 2 reservoir was built, the existing Ebenfeld 1 reservoir was refurbished, and an energy-efficient pumping station was constructed. In addition, around 7 kilometres of pipework were replaced. These investments improve the performance and efficiency of the snow-making system and lay the groundwork for reliable snow production and excellent piste conditions in the Zillertal Arena!

More fun on the slopes in Zell am Ziller
In Zell am Ziller, the piste stretching from the Hanser X-Press mountain station to the Kreuzjochalm has been extensively optimised and widened. These targeted improvements have not only enhanced the quality of the piste but also created more space for relaxed turns. The wider route provides additional comfort and enhances safety on the piste. So nothing now stands in the way of carefree skiing fun in the Zillertal Arena!

Nine new live cams bring you the most stunning panoramic views of the Zillertal Arena in crystal-clear 4K quality. With night vision, zoom, time-lapse and 360° views, you can keep an eye on the weather, snow conditions and mountain panoramas at all times. From winter 2026/27, our live footage will once again be available on ORF 2, ORF III and Canvas (NL).
Winter magic at the Fichtenschloss on the Rosenalm
High up on the Rosenalm, the Fichtenschloss is transformed into an enchanting winter castle.
