On the upper Gerlosstraße, the Knapppensäule, built in 1832 by miners, is reminiscent of the former gold mine. This is where the minions prayed every Saturday after the dangerous work in the mountain. Our Lady, who crowns the high pillar, always held her hand over the good miners. According to tradition, there has never been a fatal accident in the Zell mining industry.
