Knappensäule, Gedenkstätte, ist in Zell am Ziller.
An der oberen Gerlosstraße erinnert die 1832 von Bergleuten errichtete Knapppensäule an den einstigen Goldbergbau. An dieser Stelle verrichteten die Knappen an jedem Samstag nach der gefährlichen Arbeit im Berg ihr Gebet. Die Gottesmutter, welche die hohe Säule krönt, hielt allzeit schützend ihre Hand über die braven Bergleute. Der Überlieferung nach soll es im Zeller Bergbau nie einen tödlichen Unfall gegeben haben.
