Set off from the Gemeindeamt (village hall) in Stumm and head past the school to the edge of the forest. Turn right at the junction and onto the hiking trail - turn right and head uphill after approx. 400 m – and follow the steeply climbing trail through the forest (Way of the Cross) until it joins the road. Turn left when you reach the road and continue until you arrive at the Märzengrund car park. The trail heads slightly uphill from there to the Märzengrund. Head to the right and uphill at the junction Tannenalm-Märzengrund. The climb begins at a steep gradient and heads through the forest until just a short distance from Tannenalm - the final leg (approx. 8 minutes) heads along the road to Gasthof Tannenalm. Take the same route for the return journey, or ride back with the Hiker’s Bus.
