Above Zell am Ziller, on the Rosenalm, there is a place of fantasy – the Fichten Castle. In the summer of 2026, another attraction awaits all visitors: Every Wednesday from mid-July (July 8) to the end of August (August 26) from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the enchanting Castle Square, surrounded by four majestic towers, transforms into a magical world. The children's festival finale will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026 – featuring a live performance by the band Bluatschink.
The mastermind behind it all is, as expected, the sociable musician Willi Wichtel, who has always been working on an exciting and entertaining program in the more than 5,000 square meter castle area for the little ones: In addition to jugglers, balloon sculptors, face painting, and airbrush, Willi Wichtel has alternately engaged the Clown Duo "Herbert and Mimi", children's magician "Robert Ganahl", and the well-known songwriters Bluatschink for "his" Castle Square.
The Rosenalm adventure world with Fichten Castle and Fichten Lake can be reached via the Rosenalm cable car in Zell am Ziller. Admission to the castle area and the attractions is free.
