Herb and Flower Hike GERNKOGEL
(June 23 / July 7 / July 21 / August 4 / August 18 / September 1 / September 15 / September 29)
Our local mountain, the Gernkogel, is known as one of the most flower-rich mountains in Austria! The most diverse herbs and flowers appear to us on the hike to the 2,267 m high summit. Our hiking guide has much to tell about these treasures of nature. At the summit, we are greeted by a unique alpine panorama with a view into the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern. For refreshments, we bring a hearty snack! As a reward, there is a free mountain herb salt to take home.

Meeting point: 8:30 a.m. at the Verkehrsverein Königsleiten or 9:00 a.m. at the tourism office in Wald - total hiking time approx. 4 1/2 hours.

Costs: € 5,--/person for transfer, hiking guide free of charge - ascent with the hiking bus to Wurfalm, return from Ederbauer.
