Want to enjoy nature away from the pistes, cross-country routes and groomed trails in the largest ski area in Zillertal? Why not try ski touring away from busy slopes or head out on a snowshoe hike? Discover untouched winter scenery, forests blanketed in white and animal tracks that disappear into the snow.

Guided evening ski trip to the summit of the Plattenkogel with a stop for refreshments

End the day in energetic style and enjoy the unspoilt countryside, the crunching snow and the stillness of the mountains. You will be rewarded for your efforts with a breathtaking view and a wonderful downhill run, and can look forward to a cosy stop at Plattenalm. The trip is led by a state-certified mountain or ski guide.

Snowshoe hike for mountain enthusiasts

This rather more challenging snowshoe hike takes you through the snow-covered winter landscape of Hohe Tauern National Park.
Follow on the trail of native wild animals as you learn some great facts about fauna and flora in the winter months. Good basic fitness required!

Starts: 10.45 a.m. The meeting point will be announced when you register.
Minimum group size: 4 people (max. 15)
Return: Approx.: 4.30 p.m.
Costs: €10.00 per person with guest card including snowshoes; please bring your own poles. Sturdy footwear required.

Leisurely snowshoe hike with Lois

Enjoy a hiking experience from a bygone era. This hike takes us through romantic meadows and mountain forests. The route depends on conditions.
