At the start of this route, a beautiful mountain panorama awaits you. From the district Hochkrimml - Filzstein, you walk almost flat towards Duxeralm and further to Silberleiten. From here you have a great view of the Durlassboden reservoir to which the route now leads downhill. On the access road towards Alpengasthof Finkau, you start the circular trail around the lake. The path continues over the Bärschlag Alm, which offers a good place to stop. Over the dam and the Bräuern Alm, you then reach back to the starting point.
