Description

We did it!

Well fortified after a hearty breakfast we continue our tour towards the Krimml Waterfalls, one of the most popular natural attractions in the whole of Europe! The Krimmler Achental valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park is a veritable jewel. During this section you´re quite likely to meet a few „familiar faces“ – cheery little marmots, eagles or griffon vultures which are indigenous to the Hohe Tauern National Park. After a walk of around two hours along gently rolling pastures beside the Krimmler Ache stream, we reach the spectacular Krimmler Waterfalls and, after a further hour, the final leg of our „Women on a Mission“ Tour, the village of Krimml. With a drop of 380 metres over three levels, the Krimmler Waterfalls are the highest in Europe and an unparalleled spectacle of nature. This highlight, which also boasts natural healing properies, privides the perfect ending tot he challenging“Women on a Mission“ Tour, a multi-day hike that is guaranteed to remain etched on your memory for a very long time to come!

 

 

The Krimmler Achental is a natural jewel and is part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Keep a close look because we might encounter marmots or eagles on the hike. After a two-hour hike along the gentle alpine pastures and the Krimmler Ache, we reach the imposing Krimml Waterfalls and after another hour we reach the destination of the last stage of the women's tour, the town of Krimml.

 

With a drop of 380 metres over three levels, the Krimml Waterfalls are the highest in Europe and an unparalleled spectacle of nature. This highlight, which also boasts natural healing properties, provides the perfect ending to the challenging ‘Women on a Mission’ tour.
