Journey to the TAUERN WINDOW
(Monday to Friday, July 13 to September 11)
The way to the mine and back is undertaken independently without accompaniment.
You park (for a fee) at the Schütthof inn (Sulzau) and start the ascent from there via the Geo Educational Trail (approximately 1.5 hours) to the door of the show mine. This "underground attraction" offers exciting insights into alpine geology and the history of the national park. Afterwards, you will hike back to the starting point and enjoy a meal at the Schütthof inn.
Meeting Point: At 11:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. directly at the mine
Duration: approximately 2 hours (mine tour only) - jacket for the mine
Registration: absolutely necessary at: npht.at/touren
Costs: Adults € 10,-- / Children € 5,--
Requirements: Easy approximately 240 meters of elevation gain
