Hiking

Raging gorge and impressive larch forests.

We will take a nationalpark bus taxi from our meeting point to Finkau. From there, the hike to the Leitenkammer gorge begins. A path leads us from Trisslalm (1,584 m) through old larch forests above the tree line to the Wildkar Hochalm. Via the scenic Leitenkammer trail, we will return to the starting point of our tour.

Registration: until the day before the tour at 3:00 PM at www.npht.at/gorge
Meeting point: 9:00 AM in Hochkrimml, parking lot at the Duxer 6er Bubble valley station.
Duration: approx. 6 hours.
Difficulty: moderate fitness & endurance.
Costs: 22,- Euros. Children and teenagers (10–16 years) free if accompanied by their parents.
