Children’s festival at Fichtenschloss

Every Wednesday from mid-July (09/07/25) to end-August (27/08/25) from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Jugglers, magicians, clowns & friends

On the Rosenalm high above Zell am Ziller there is a magical place of fantasy – Fichtenschloss. In summer 2025, another attraction awaits all visitors: every Wednesday from mid-July (09.07.) to end-August (27.08.) from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., the enchanting castle square surrounded by four majestic towers is transformed into a magical world.

Who else could be the mastermind behind this other than the gregarious musician Willi Wichtel, who is always tinkering on an exciting and entertaining programme for children in the over 5,000 m² castle grounds: in addition to jugglers, balloon modellers, face painters and airbrushing artists, Willi Wichtel has been able to engage the clown duo Herbert and Mimi, children’s magician Robert Ganahl and the famous singer-songwriters Bluatschink for “his” castle square.

Please note: Face Painting & Airbrush Tattoos
At the kids’ festival at the Fichtenschloss, face painting and airbrush tattoos are free of charge for all young guests. To keep waiting times short, you’ll need a timed slot.
Free time slots can be picked up at the entrance of the Fichtenschloss – subject to availability.
Please note: Without a time slot, participation is not possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Children’s festival finale with "Bluatschink"

The latter will also bring the children’s festival season to a fitting end with a performance in the Fichtenwelt on the Rosenalm on Sunday, 31st August 2025. The Rosenalm adventure world with Fichtenschloss castle and lake Fichtensee can be reached by the Rosenalmbahn cable car in Zell am Ziller. Admission to the castle grounds and the attractions are free.
