The highest waterfalls in Austria
Our tour begins at the Krimml tourism association, where you will be greeted by an experienced ranger. After you have overcome all the steps of the falls and a total drop of 385m, the entrance to the Krimml Achental opens up. Here, the guided tour ends and you can decide for yourself whether to hike a bit further into the Krimmler Achental or return.
- Registration: Registration possible up to three hours before the tour starts at npht.at/waterfalls
- Meeting point: at 09:00 a.m. at the Krimml tourism association.
- Duration: approximately 5 hours of total walking time (about 3 hours guided tour)
- Requirements: Moderate difficulty
- Cost: 22,- euros. Free with the KrimmlCard or National Park Summer Card. Children and teenagers (10–16 years) free when accompanied by their parents.
