With the Isskogelbahn, you can comfortably reach the starting point at the mountain station (1,900 m).

From the mountain station of the Isskogelbahn, hiking trail No. 1 passes the Latschenalm (1,950 m), over the Ebenfeld, continuing across gently
sloping pastures towards the mountain station Vorkogel. 
The last half hour to the summit of the Isskogels (2,263 m) gets a bit steeper as you ascend a green grassy mountain.
