Description

A walking tour of 1.5 hours through the woods and along the river. Winter hiking shoes are recommended.
At the base station of Rosenalmbahn cable car - Zillertal Arena on the right hand side the Krauspromenade (way no. 2) starts rising slightly. The promenade is named after the famous singer Dr. Kraus. After about 30 minutes on the shady forest path you reach the Gerlosbergstrasse, there you turn right (down the valley) until you reach the Gerlosberg bridge. After the bridge turn right through the Kaiserstadt and walk along the right side of the Gerlosbach river back to the starting point.
