Zell am Ziller is located in the heart of Zillertal at 575 m above sea level and is the first entry point to the Zillertal Arena.

Due to its altitude of 1,246 m above sea level, Gerlos offers almost 100% snow guarantee until well into spring.

Off-piste

Arena Coaster

Fun, action and speed await you on the alpine roller coaster in Zell am Ziller. The 1,450 m of coaster fun starts at the Rosenalmbahn bottom station and is the inter attraction with several waves, steep curves and jumps.

Winter hiking

Cross-country skiing trails

The other amazing snow activity in the Gerlosstein ski area is called snowtubing. You whizz down the mountain in a tyre on specially prepared runs.
