In the center of Wald, turn at the church onto B 165 onto the old Gerlos road. From there along the road to the bridge before Mühlbauer - turn right here and continue to the farm "Hoched." Along the forest path through a forest, ride to Wurfalm and further to Happingalm - the alpine pasture area at Gernkogel is a wonderful spot due to the varied flora! Mountain bike route No. 2E
HIKE TIP: On foot, hike over lush alpine and mountain meadows for about 1.5 hours to the summit of Gernkogel and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the mountain world!
