The Gerlos Almabtrieb - Culture for 31 Years!
The Almabtrieb in Gerlos has a long tradition and is one of the highlights of the mountain autumn every year. You can experience the Zillertal tradition up close.
There will be an "Almabtrieb like it used to be," where the decorated cows proudly return from the alpine pastures on September 26, 2026 and can be seen along the Gerlos road.
