ACTIVE HIKING – CHEESE HIKE TO GLETSCHERBLICK ALM

Today’s hike takes us from Filzstein via Silberleiten to the Gletscherblick Alm. The magnificent views of the Wildkar and Reichenspitz mountain groups will delight every hiking enthusiast. Upon arrival at the alpine hut, we will discover the secrets of traditional cheese making.

Experienced hikers also have the opportunity to climb the Plattenkogel (2,040 m).

Between July and September, travel to the starting point is possible by free hiking bus (Guest Mobility Ticket).

Climb Krimml’s local mountain (2,040 m) and enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding 3,000-meter peaks. Just below the summit, we strengthen ourselves with traditional Pinzgau home-style cuisine at the cozy BergGeistAlm.

EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF AN ALPACA WALK

Alpacas quickly win the hearts of young and old with their curious and gentle nature. After a short introduction, we hike together with our sweet, fluffy companions through the beautiful natural landscape to the famous Krimml Waterfalls.

We respond to the calmness alpacas radiate – our heartbeat slows down and we automatically become more relaxed. After a short break, we return to the starting point.

Guided herbal hike with fascinating information! We collect wild herbs that support lung and respiratory health. Afterwards, we prepare and enjoy a healthy alpine snack (wild herb butter with fresh dark bread from the Krimml bread oven).

Forest bathing is about consciously slowing down and mindfully experiencing nature rather than being physically active.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF SMUGGLERS & MULETEERS

Experience an impressive hike full of history and alpine beauty. A taxi comfortably takes us to the Krimmler Tauernhaus – the starting point of a historic route once used by smugglers and muleteers.

Together we hike towards Italy, passing the Peace Grove and continuing to the idyllic Windbachalm. Surrounded by impressive mountain scenery, we follow historic paths through the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Afterwards, we return to the Krimmler Tauernhaus for a cozy stop before taking the taxi back to Krimml.

A varied tour combining exercise, history, and nature enjoyment.

LEISURELY E-BIKE TOUR TO BLAUSEE

We cycle along the Tauern cycle path towards the Obersulzbach Valley. At the entrance to the valley, nestled in a peaceful forest clearing, the idyllic lake invites you to relax, enjoy – and on warm days even cool off.
