The photo point in the Krimml WaterWorlds is the perfect place to capture your favourite moment and share it with the world under #krimmlerwasserwelten.
Play, learn, marvel – this is the motto at the Krimmler WasserWelten. The innovative adventure centre is as varied as the topic of water itself. This accessible modern building has a unique design, with the icosahedron as a recurring feature. A sign for water, it symbolises the many shapes and forms of water and its use.
The centrepiece is the Waterfall Centre, where visitors can not only get tickets and information, but also enjoy a breathtaking view of the Krimml Waterfalls. The viewing terrace offers the perfect photo spot, while regional delicacies, coffee and cake invite you to linger in the WasserWunderBar.
An exciting journey into the world of the element begins in the House of Water: the ‘Faces of Water’ exhibition, the interactive water cinema and impressive views of the falls make the visit a real highlight.
The outdoor water park offers creative play and experimentation stations for cooling off and the joy of discovery - a perfect place for young adventurers and big nature fans.
Opening times:
from 20 May to 29 October
daily from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Just a few steps away from the impressive Krimml Waterfalls, an extraordinary world of experiences centred around the element of water awaits you: the Krimml Water Park invites visitors of all ages to actively discover water - playfully, sensually and educationally at the same time.
In a spacious area, 25 interactive stations make the fascinating properties of water tangible: from bubbling springs and creative play elements to exciting experiments. A visit here is a family adventure full of wonder, fun and aha experiences.
A real highlight is the water game pass, which sends children on an exciting mission. Together with Wassili, the curious water droplet, they have to solve eight mysterious water tasks: find symbols, solve puzzles and document their discoveries. Whoever masters all the challenges will be surprised with a small reward - an experience that connects and inspires!
Water can not only be seen and felt, but also heard. Our interactive sound panel makes it possible to experience the acoustic spectrum of water: from soft splashing to powerful thunder. Bottles become musical instruments, drops create rhythms - and water becomes a concert of the senses.
Playfully move around on artistically designed natural stones: hop like a frog, balance like a flamingo or stand still like a starfish. This station not only encourages skill and movement, but also reminds us that water is the basis of all life - a combination of fun and environmental awareness.
Ancient technology comes to life at this hands-on station: The Archimedes' screw, which is over 2000 years old, impressively demonstrates how water can be lifted by rotation alone. Here you can try out for yourself how fascinating physics can be!
Now it's getting splashy! The large water wheel provides cooling and movement, while a wooden ball races through watercourses and wooden tracks in the ball stream - right up to the mini waterfall. If you feel like it, you can fish the ball out again with the landing net. You will find the appropriate ball machine at the exit of the waterfall centre (cost: € 2).
Tip: Combine your visit with a walk to the Krimml Waterfalls - an unforgettable nature experience for the whole family!
Directly opposite the waterfall centre is a real highlight for curious visitors and nature fans: the House of Water! With the combined ticket, you not only gain admission to the impressive Krimml WaterWorlds, but also access to the Krimml Waterfalls themselves - a double experience!
