Description

2-hour gently winter hike in unspoilt nature. For these family-friendly hiking tour good winter shoes are recommended.

We cross the bridge at Bildungszentrum Gerlos and follow the road to the left to the entrance of the Schönachtal Valley. This is where the path begins its gentle rise. After a short break at the snackstation Jörgleralm we reach the Stinkmoosalm, here you have a wonderful view of the end of the valley with the Schönachkees Glacier (3,000 m), you can reach the snack-bar at Lackenalm pasture (1,400 m) in about 1 hour.
