After crossing the Gerlosbach opposite the Gerlos education center (parking is possible at the Isskogelbahn!), the slightly ascending cross-country ski trail starts towards Schönachtal. The turning point is at the wooden bridge over which the trail leads back to the starting point. The new cross-country ski trail connection up to the “Lackenalm Loipe” and “Höhenloipe Issalm” also starts from the Schönachtal car park.
The best thing: In Schönachtal you can even experience the winter landscape at night, as 1.5 km of the trail is illuminated from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
