Directions to Zillertal Arena, Tyrol, Austria

Zell am Ziller is situated in the middle of the Ziller Valley. The Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck airports are all within one to two hours’ drive. For those not travelling by car, the Ziller Valley also has good bus and train connections. The closest train station is in Jenbach. From there, there are regular mail buses and Ziller Valley railway to Zell am Ziller.

Try searching for the same journey on the Deutsche Bahn, on the Austrian national rail service or the Swiss Schweizer Bahn websites, and there may be a difference in the prices, so you could get yourself a bargain.

It is even possible to bag a so-called 'Sparpreis' reduced ticket online up to three days before your journey. The earlier you book the better! There are also many more offers to be found if you travel during the week in comparison to weekend travel.

Tips for families:


Young children ride for FREE up to one day before their sixth birthday with the Austrian Rail ÖBB standard ticket, children from six to fifteen years of age travel half price. Young children do not have to be listed on the ticket.
