Head to the left of the Municipal office, complete a gentle ascent up to Dorfstraße, and then cross this road. When you reach the signpost, head uphill and to the left; after passing the last of the houses, take the forestry road towards the Spitzerköpfl. Turn right and head uphill along the many bends – some of which are very steep – until you reach the rocky peak. Tip: Take a detour (via a short trail secured with ropes) to the Spitzerköpfl summit cross and enjoy the wonderful views of the Zillertal valley). Keep following the hiking trail uphill until this merges with the forestry road. Keep to the right as you walk along the road for a short distance, then turn left
when you reach the junction and head uphill into the forest. Further up, you will come to a meadow plateau: Make your way across this while taking in the view of the Alpbachtal valley, then keep right on the forestry road as you head up towards Reither Kogel mountain. The signpost at the barrier marks the start of the summit trail, which features some exposed, narrow, and steep sections but also offers terrific views of the Inntal valley as you make your ascent. You can then enjoy more panoramas of the Zillertal valley from the wooden summit cross on the Reither Kogel. Complete your hike by following the same trail back to Bruck.
