The circular route starts at the Krimml Waterfalls, which offer a great refreshment through the spray when water flow is strong. From here, you walk along the Achenwaldweg to Bräuer Bridge. Crossing the street, a section leads a bit steeper uphill towards Falkenstein. Via a forest path, you reach the village again. Passing the Tourist Office, you go downhill to Holztratte, past the reservoir, and back to the starting point.
