The hike starts at the parkingstation of the Isskogelbahn in Gerlos. Along the Gerlosbach in the direction of the Innertal, the slightly ascending path takes us up to the Almstüberl (closed in summer) and then to the Prölleralm (a quaint mountain hut with a wonderful view of the Schönachkees). From here the trail leads over lush meadows.
Then you can from here ...
a) ... hike to the mountain station of the Isskogelbahn and take the gondola back to the parkingstation (starting point).
b) ... follow the path past to the Rössl Alm through a short wooded area which you either continue right on the 3 km long meadow path through the Innertal - or via the shorter but more difficult path leads at the forest back to Gerlos.
