Beautiful hike to the snack station Wimmertalalm. The valley entrance to Wimmertal is located directly next to the main road in Gerlos-Gmünd. After a short, somewhat steeper ascent, you walk past the snow-covered alpine pastures further into the valley until you reach the Wimmertalalm snack station after about half an hour‘s walk. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Wechselspitze and the Mitterjoch.
