At the Wald town center, turn at the church onto the B 165 to the old Gerlos road, after about 4 km take the 2nd turn right after the Hotel Ronach into the Salzach valley. Continue into the idyllic Salzach valley, past the snack station Salzach hut, follow the circular route Salzachalm/Mülleralm. This route is accompanied by lots of water and invites you to cool down.
From the entrance into the Salzach valley, the spring path also leads: Along the various stations, the theme WATER is brought closer to the hiker!
On the way back, you can stop at the snack station Salzach hut and enjoy Pinzgau delicacies such as Kaiserschmarrn, Gröstl, ...

TIP HIKE to Markkirchl: From Salzachalm, you can hike on foot to Markkirchl, after about 45 minutes you reach the small chapel which stands directly on the state border to Tyrol.
