The circular route starts at the WasserWelten in Krimml. Along the way, you pass some impressive buildings such as the old customs houses or the birth house of the Salzburg freedom fighter Anton Wallner as well as several very old farmhouses. At the Panoramahotel Burgeck the sun terrace entices you with views of the natural spectacle of the Krimmler Waterfalls. Then the path continues over the Heimkehrerkreuz towards Falkenstein.
ALTERNATIVELY, you can continue over Falkenstein to Krimml train station (municipality Wald i. Pzg.) and then return to the starting point - the Krimmler WasserWelten - via the Achenwaldweg.
