At the Bräuer Alm directly on the road towards the alpine inn Finkau you start the circular route, which leads once around the lake. From here, going towards the dam, you soon reach the cozy Seestüberl, where there is also a boat rental. The path continues over the dam and later past the Bärschlag Alm, which offers another good place to stop for refreshments. On hot days, you can cool off at the various bathing areas. In the area of the Schütthof Alm, you cross the reservoir inflow and hike back along the other side to the starting point.
