The start of the well-known Tauern Cycle Path is located near the largest waterfalls in Europe. From there you ride the leisurely Achenwaldweg with slight climbs and descents, parallel to the Krimmler Ache, all the way to Krimml Station. The route to Passau continues via Mittersill, Zell am See (here you decide between the Salzach or Saalach variant) to Salzburg and onward to Passau.
