From Krimml the first section leads over the Gerlos Alpenstraße. Once you have reached the pass height, turn left towards Hochkrimml. Here you will be rewarded with a beautiful mountain panorama. On the only slightly ascending path between OT Filzstein and OT Silberleiten you can regain some strength before the last section leads upwards again to the rustic Gletscherblickalm.
