Stausee Durlassboden

The crystal-clear water of the Durlassboden Reservoir warms up to a pleasant 21° degrees during the summer months, making Gerlos a true summer highlight! Whether surfing or simply relaxing while splashing, swimming, kayaking, or pedal boating – all this is possible! You can also find relaxation on the grassy area by the lake. At the Durlassboden Reservoir, you will find the highest surfing school in Austria (1,400 m above sea level). The boat dock is located directly at the dam crest of the reservoir near the restaurant "Seestüberl". A special hiking tip: The circular hike around the reservoir with dining options at the Gasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm, and Seestüberl on the dam crest.
