Family adventures in the Zell-Gerlos region

Joint excursions, for example to the Rosenalm adventure worlds, Almparadies Gerlosstein, Zell leisure park, Abenteuerland Gerlos or Latschenland Gerlos, sporting activities such as a high ropes course or via ferrata tour, an exciting bike tour or a leisurely hike – a family holiday in the Zillertal Arena has something for everyone. Swimming fun is also guaranteed – the outdoor swimming pools, the Durlassboden reservoir and the new Spruce Lake provide a cool down on a hot summer’s day.

Tailor-made programmes for children and teens ensure that the Zillertal Arena’s youngest guests do not get bored. Parents can explore the region on their own and know that their offspring are well looked after.

On the Rosenalm high above Zell am Ziller there is a magical place of fantasy. According to legend, the Spruce Tree Castle was built by the mystical Spruce Sprites and is a very special kind of adventure playground! Recreation and refreshment can be found at the new Spruce Lake.

There are many new attractions to discover, such as a petting zoo, alpine playground and the new Almpromenade, on the Gerlosstein adventure mountain in Hainzenberg under the motto “back to the source”.

Family life should definitely not be neglected on holiday which is why the Zillertal Arena offers everything that parents and children’s hearts desire. Joint excursions, for example to the Krimml Waterfalls, sporting activities such as canyoning, but also exciting hikes and climbing tours leave nothing to be desired on a family holiday in Zillertal.

Thrills for the whole family

The Arena Coaster doesn’t just thrill the kids: fun, action and speed await you on the alpine roller coaster in Zillertal. The 1,450 m of coaster fun starts at the bottom station in Zell and is THE year-round attraction for all ages with several waves, steep curves and jumps. A 360° gyro and a 540° gyro provide an additional adrenaline rush.

At the bottom station of the Arena Coaster, which promises thrills for the whole family, the adventure playground offers a large kingdom for little climbers, sliders, jumpers and swingers. The big trampoline facility gets all ages jumping.

The Almflieger Gerlosstein offers all Arena guests fun, action and an incomparable bird’s eye view! The flying machine runs over 4 routes with a length of up to 738 m and whizzes over the Almparadies Gerlosstein with a maximum speed of 50 km/h.
