The Marching Band Marmagen 1921 e.V.

The Marching Band Marmagen was founded on February 1, 1921, to musically support the theater group (St. Josef Association) that was established in 1896. Since then, our association has become an important part of the cultural life in our beautiful Eifel community.
We actively participate in village festivals and anniversaries and are also present at numerous external performances. Particularly noteworthy are our contributions to shooting parades and drumming festivals, which often extend well beyond the borders of our community and district. With the grand tattoo, we regularly perform at various festivals, anniversaries, and farewells, and we also enrich the carnival parades with our musical accompaniment.
Since 1980, we have been conducting a trip to Austria, Bavaria, or the Black Forest every two years, during which a guest concert usually takes place in the visited location.
Currently, the Marching Band Marmagen has about 200 members, of whom 20 actively participate in the association.
We are very much looking forward to presenting our musical talent in Austria and warmly invite everyone to visit us on this special occasion!
