A short trail which is not too difficult and leads through the little church Maria Rast.
Starting from Mayrhofen Railway Station, ride initially away from the town. Along the western banks of the Ziller River, you will pass Burgschrofen Chapel. The cycle path leads through lush meadows to Hippach, where you will pass tennis and beach volleyball courts and arrive at the Ziller Bridge. Turn right here, cross the main road at the bottom and you will soon arrive in Ramsau. Turn right at the Music Pavilion and ride back into the valley for a short distance, below the church. The ascent begins after only a few metres. The route leads up to Ramsberg over six winding bends, where you will keep criss-crossing underneath the Ramsberg chairlift. At around 1,000 metres above sea level, you will encounter a short flat section before the descent begins. After a few metres, you will arrive in Hainzenberg. The route continues downhill along the Gerlos-Bundesstrasse. After around two thirds of the descent you will pass the Maria Rast Church of Pilgrimage. It is not far to Zell now. Back down in the valley, ride past Gasthaus Waldrast to your left and stay on the trail. After a residential area, turn right and ride through the underpass. This takes you to the Zillerpromenade, where you should turn left and ride down the cycle path. After around one kilometre, you will pass the Zillertaler Heimatmuseum to your left, which serves as an outdoor stage for various productions in summer. Continue straight ahead and you will ride through Hippach, before returning to Mayrhofen.
