Von Krimml Ort führt das erste Teilstück über die Gerlos Alpenstraße. Nach ca. 2,0 km zweigt man links auf den Fahrweg Richtung Krimmler Achental ab. Entlang der Krimmler Wasserfälle fahren Sie durch den Anna Tunnel (Länge 300 m). Von dort führt ein Wander- und Bikeweg parallel zur Krimmler Ache an urigen Almen und bewirtschafteten Hütten vorbei. Nach der Innerunlaßalm geht`s dann ins Windbachtal zur gleichnamigen Windbachalm.
