Sliding along the fresh groomed cross country ski-tracks surrounded by the stunning alpine scenery of the Zillertal valley and the Pinzgau, makes hearts leap for joy. The tracks in Gerlos lead you through small, snowy and unspoilt valleys.
A real highlight is the track into the “Schönachtal” valley.
Innertal - Funsingau cross country trail - L1Cross country trail closed!
At the parkingplace at the Hotel Oberwirt, you enter directly into the cross-country ski run and walk past the sports ground in the direction of Innertal. At the foot of the Isskogelbahn an underpass leads under the Gerlosstraße (Attention: height 180 cm!). Along the Gerlosbach (700 m no skating track), the trail leads past the powerhouse into" Funsingau". On the way back you can turn left at Innertalerhof over the wooden bridge and change to the Schönachtal cross-country ski trail.

Cross the Gerlosbach bridge across from the Hotel Oberwirt and turn left. There the track starts in the direction of Schönachtal, which leads slightly upwards about 2 km to the so-called "Die Hintern". From here, a cleared winter hiking path leads up to the Schönachtal. On the left over the wooden bridge the trail leads back to Gerlos. Shortly before the main road, turn left an then return to the starting point. Highlight: 1,5 km from the cross country trail are illuminated from 5.00 pm till 11.30 pm
Lackenalm cross country trail - L3Cross country trail closed!
The last parkingplace is at the so-called "Die Hintern". From there a cleared road (approx. 700 m) leads to the Schönachtal. Then the valley spreads out and the trail leads past the "Stinkmoosalm". In the middle of and around the "Stinkmoosalm" the "Stinkmoos cross country trail" leads slightly hilly. If, however, you cross the bulk dam to the right, a 2 km long, fantastic trail leads to the right bank of the Schönachcreek to the "Lackenalm".
High altitude cross country Lackenalm - Issalm - L4Cross country trail closed!
The trail runs from the Lackenalm on a path (max. 4 m width) about 2 km to the Issalm, where it ends in an impressive valley close to the "Isswände". Skiers and hikers take the same route, and since the return path is the same is cautiously requested.
In case of an avalanche danger, the track must be blocked, the lock is to be followed.
