Being the entrance to the Zillertal-Arena the hospitable villages of Wald and Königsleiten welcome all people with a passion for winter time. The romantic skiing village of Königsleiten at 1,600 m above sea level really shows off: fun on skies and snowboards, Aprés Ski and entertainment in the huts - a new lifestyle awaits you!
For those who prefer to relax, Wald offers the perfect alternative. This quite village at the bottom of the ski-mountains is a paradise for cross-country skiers. Alpine skiers can drive right to the skiing resort or they can use the ski-shuttle free of charge. The evenings can be spent in Walds' cosy guesthouses and hotels, with walks under a star-lit sky or with romantic tours on a horse-drawn sleigh.
